We (the Write.as team) started building Pherephone in 2019, as a way to bring ActivityPub functionality to Read Write.as and WriteFreely's Reader view. Essentially, we wanted to give people a way to follow many blogs on a #WriteFreely instance from the #fediverse. You can see how it works by following @writeas_devs@alpha.phereph.one from the fediverse.

We may restart development on it in the near future, and bring it to a “v1.0” status.
